Footsteps and breath, moisture drips from branches, leaves.
Too many times the sky is torn with sound
my footsteps slide to lead ancestors abstract glimpse

The city grows inflated hopes
and feeds on Crimson dreams
The symptoms barely felt in isolation from the self
In symbols drawn on money
faceless gestures
from heartless jesters

The sky falls apart
from the spinning blades of reasons monumental I
Cut like ribbons torn from silk
Cant find why

The days speed up
Wind howls replys to tortured silence

I see a clearing
big and recent
ahead
The Earth runs away from tears, from realisations.
The little voice within
repeats to me
things I've tried to see.

Waterfalls embrace the city
The clouds commit
the turning tide.
To claw my toes and wash away
my memories of the woken dream.
